Be careful it's very hard to find. The food is pretty good, but there's onions on every single thing on the menu. Nice outdoor area with a good view. When you get to 550 Wave Street, the cafe is downstairs. I posted a picture of the placard. Couldn't find a name sign anywhere on the restaurant.

Views are great. Outdoor seating is really cool. Got juevos rancheros which was delicious. Got halibut tacos at the table as well whixh were more of a healthy tasting option. White mocha was actually very watered down and not sweet if thats how you like it. Paper straws as a heads up for those who need that info.

The taste is not spicy, and it has a mild flavor, so it's a good place to eat in the morning. The ocean background and beach beyond the window create a good atmosphere.

Nice food and really quick service! We had the pancakes and salmon eggs Benedict. The orange juice tasted a bit off, but maybe that was the variety used, or perhaps it wasn’t fresh. Otherwise it was an excellent meal and really enjoyed our visit.

Selected this place for breakfast because of the great Google reviews and it did not disappoint! I had omelette and substituted the potatoes with cottage cheese and my partner had the corned beef hash. He said it was the best thing he had tasted since our trip in California started. Coffees were beautiful and the service was great 10/10!

Very impressed. Menu is extensive in variety and has options for everyone. The portions are excellent for a brunch spot and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the area. The service staff were friendly and the food came out in a timely manner. The music and the decor adds wonderfully to the atmosphere as well.

Wave Street Cafe is a favorite of mine and my wife's places to go when we head out to Monterey. It's a very beautiful restaurant with incredible views of the ocean. In addition, they have plenty of shade and allow dogs on the patio/outside area. They generally have great food, with me enjoying the egg's benedict, but the staff is quite busy with the many guests so don't expect to always be asked for refills on coffee or water. In addition, there is a long wait time usually on the weekends, anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to be seated. Other than how busy this place gets, it's a great restaurant!
